A Free Workshop

For people who want to love better and be braver in their relationships

Led by Ali Ryan — Trauma-Informed Integrative Coach, Somatic Guide, Queer Parent, Nervous System Wizard

📍 Live on Zoom | 🎥 Replay available

💸 Cost: Free — because emotional fluency should be accessible

🧘 Come regulated or dysregulated. All of you is welcome.

💡 In this free workshop, you’ll learn:

  • 🧠 What feelings are — and why they’re not flaws to fix.
You’ll get a simple, clear framework to understand emotions without spiraling into shame.

  • 🌀 How trauma and neurodivergence shape emotional patterns.
We’ll look at how your brain codes emotion — and why your nervous system reacts the way it does.

  • 🌬️ Somatic tools to help you stay grounded and connected in real-time.
No deep breaths or timeouts required — these are tools you can actually use mid-convo or conflict.

  • 🧩 Why emotional clarity is the secret sauce for better communication.
When you know what you’re feeling, you can name needs, hold boundaries, and repair ruptures.

  • ❤️‍🔥 How to stop exiling the parts of you that hijack your relationships.
This is the first step to living in harmony with your whole self — not just the polished parts.

  • “Don’t be so sensitive.”

  • “Just stay calm and think rationally.”

  • “You’re overreacting.”

  • “If you’re emotional, you’re weak.”

  • “You need to fix your feelings before you're worthy of love.”

❌ What you were taught about emotions:

✅ What I’ll teach you:

  • Feelings are signals, not flaws.

  • Emotions live in the body-mind.

  • Your sensitivity is a strength when it’s understood.

  • You don’t need to shut down or overflow — there’s another way.

  • Integrating all your parts makes you more relational, not less.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You shut down, get reactive, or go into people-pleasing mode when emotions run high

  • You’ve felt “too sensitive” or like your feelings cause more harm than good

  • You want to stop bringing your past into present relationships — but don’t know how

  • You’re in (or want to be in) relationships where consent, repair, and presence deeply matter

  • You want to improve communication with your partner, co-parent, kids, lover, or friend — without bulldozing your own needs

This is more than a free workshop.

It’s a portal to the kind of communication you know is possible but haven’t yet had modeled.

We’ll move through concepts and embodiment.
I’ll share tools — and stories from my own life as a queer coach, co-parent, and complex human.

And I’ll introduce you to the deeper integration work I do with clients 1:1 — where we practice showing up with all your parts, in relationship, for real.

You don’t have to fight with your feelings to grow.

So many of us learned to exile the parts of ourselves we didn’t like —
the angry part, the anxious part, the shut-down part, the one who cries too easily or “cares too much.”

We try to out-think them, shame them, and bypass them with good vibes or productivity.

But that doesn’t lead to freedom. It leads to fragmentation.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to integrate with your emotions gently.

Not push them away.
Not become consumed by them.
Not bulldoze over them with logic.
Not light them on fire and call it healing.

This is about building a relationship with your inner world that’s based on compassion, not control.

FAQs— aka, I Have Feelings About This

  • No worries, friend. Everyone who registers will get access to the replay — so you can catch it when your brain and body are ready.

  • Yes. This workshop is designed with tender brains and sensitive nervous systems in mind. You can show up camera-off, stim, fidget, lie down, or participate silently. Consent and self-regulation come first.

  • Totally fair. This is a zero-pressure zone. You’ll get gentle, science-backed tools to help you understand emotions without getting overwhelmed or stuck. Curiosity is all you need.

  • Just bring yourself, something to write with (journal, napkin, back of an envelope), and maybe a cozy blanket. That’s it.

  • There will be a mix!

I’ll share some foundational concepts, then guide you through simple somatic practices and reflections. You can opt in or out of participation at any time — your comfort matters most. But please don’t make me lecture :P

  • Nope. It’s educational and experiential.

It might feel therapeutic, but it’s not a substitute for therapy. It is a damn good complement, though.

  • I’m a rational person — aren’t feelings kind of…irrational and unproductive?
Honestly? I used to think that too. But here’s my take: your feelings are data. They’re your nervous system’s way of signaling unmet needs, past patterning, and inner wisdom — faster than logic ever could. Ignoring them doesn’t make you stronger; it just makes the signals louder. This workshop won’t ask you to abandon logic — it’ll help you partner with your emotions so your whole system works better, not harder.
